Thirteen Invitations

Thirty‑six debt‑ridden individuals are invited to Blackthorn Island to take part in a deadly game where lives are traded for money. Ethan ventures into this perilous contest to find his brother Noah, who has been missing for four years. Sophia, an emergency‑room nurse, is forced to join to raise funds for her daughter’s surgery. As fatal rounds unfold‑‑Heartbeat, the Body Key, Crown Voting, True‑and‑False Debt and more‑‑players fight to survive between the rules and final reckoning. Ethan gradually uncovers that his brother was the winner of the previous cycle, placed in life‑suspension stasis for refusing to appoint the next Recorder. In the end, he turns the game’s own rules into a weapon, amending Article Thirteen to shut the game down forever.
